Privacy Policy1.flatjump submits itself to the following principles with the protection of personal data:
1.1. flatjump shall in no way notify third parties of your e-mail address for advertising or marketing purposes or forward this otherwise to third parties.
1.2. With the exception of several general details about your person and status you decide yourself which of the personal data you entered with flatjump can be viewed by others or flatjump members.
1.3. Non-members of flatjump can principally view some of your personal data unless you have confirmed this to "no" under the menu item safety "Make my profile is also visible outside of flatjump.".
1.4. As a basic principle, travel blogs and forum entries can be viewed externally.
2. Fixed terms of the data protection provisions
flatjump uses certain fixed terms in these data protection provisions:
2.1 The websites, on which flatjump offers services, are called flatjump websites.
2.2 The users registered on the flatjump websites are called flatjump members.
2.3 The services offered on the flatjump websites which are liable to registration are called flatjump services.
2.4 flatjump members have the possibility to create an own profile on the flatjump websites. This is hereinafter referred to as user-own profile.
2.5. Personal data, which have to be entered in the form of mandatory fields in the registration for flatjump services, will be described as registration details.
3. Collection of personal data
3.1 Registration details
In order to guarantee a proper function of the flatjump services flatjump must collect certain personal data as registration details during the registration and process these internally.
3.1.1 Mandatory fields in the registration
The following mandatory fields must be completed in the registration:
a) User name
b) Sex
c) Date of birth
d) Place of residence
e) E-mail address
f) General Business Terms
g) Password
3.1.2 Visible mandatory fields in the user-own profile
Of the details in these mandatory fields the following details can always be viewed by other flatjump members to an unlimited extent via the user-own profile:
a) User name
b) Sex
c) Age (friends and group members receive a reference when it is your birthday.)
d) Place of residence
3.2 The users can enter additional voluntary details besides the registration details on a voluntary basis (hereinafter referred to as voluntary information), which make it possible for other flatjump members to get to know the respective users better and to choose him as a suitable contact. A multitude of stipulated terms can be chosen for the voluntary information. Free fields offer additional individual possibilities for description. Here the user can state what he offers other flatjump members and what he is looking for with other flatjump members. The user can design his flatjump site himself. Photos and videos can additionally be published in the user-own profile.
4. The user-own flatjump profile
4.1 Publication of the personal data in the user-own profile
The user of the flatjump services can personally set the visibility of the personal data in the heading "safety". The user has two possibilities for this purpose:
- "Make my profile is also visible outside of flatjump." (No) In this setting your data can only be viewed by flatjump members.
- "Make my profile is also visible outside of flatjump." (Yes) In this setting you can appear on the start page. This way your profile is also visible for non-flatjump members.
In the pre-settings flatjump has set your profile as can be viewed by users who are not registered to (Yes). This pre-setting can be changed at all times.
4.2 The references
There is a notice board in the user-own profile. Other flatjump members can write entries here, which are visible for all flatjump members. The notice board allows all flatjump members to create entries.
4.3 My mailbox
All flatjump members can send and receive private messages within the flatjump service in order to make contacts. The flatjump pre-setting allows all flatjump users to send and receive messages.
There is the possibility for all flatjump members to block messages from certain flatjump members at all times. This is not visible for the blocked member.
5. Search functions
The flatjump services offer various possibilities to search for other flatjump members. The various search functions support the users of the flatjump services in finding other flatjump members with similar interests. The search functions moreover help in establishing contacts with other flatjump members which offer exactly that what the respective user is looking for.
6. Cookies
The flatjump services use cookies after the log-in with user name and password and exclusively save data which are required to identify the user for the duration of a session.
7. Entitled to registration
Entitled to registration are only users who have the capacity to conduct legal transactions or however act with the approval of their legal guardian. Parents or persons entitled to supervision are responsible for protecting the private sphere of their children.
8. Changes to the data protection provisions
flatjump reserves the right to change these data protection provisions at all times if change are necessary owing to subsequently recognised loopholes in the regulations or with regard to new services provided by flatjump. The user is obliged to inform himself regularly about the data protection provisions of the flatjump services.
9. Retrievability of the data protection provisions
The data protection provisions of the flatjump services can be found on the start page of the flajump websites.
