Location Hints:Tata is an oasis in southern of Morocco, near the Algerian border and located after the Anti Atlas. It is surrounded by: Assa, Taroudant, Tiznit, Ouarzazate and Guelmim.
The city is located 289 km southeast of Agadir and about 815 km of Laayoune. It occupies an area of nearly 26 000 km2. According to the census of 2004 the High Commissioner for Planning, the population of the city is estimated at 121,618.
