About me:I have been based in Bangkok since 2001 and worked entirely in travel and hospitality. For me life without travel and the ability to experience new things would be pretty bland.
Southeast Asia is a travellers treasure trove and while the masses flog the well trodden tourist trails it is still very easy to loose the crowds and to entirely indulge yourself in new places and things to do which is exactly why I remain here!
Location Hints:Bangkok is the perfect bedlam. So many visitors treat is as a mere stepping stone to the islands but there is so much to see and do both in the city and the surrounds; nightlife, shopping, art, things to learn, places to see and people to meet.
Above all though it is a perfect base from which to go and indulge in whatever inspires you - rock climbing, track days, sailing, white water rafting, spa retreats, food and drink and the list goes on.
